2 More Days to DSD

I thought I would show you a preview or two of some of the mini-kits I made for DSD. Are you all as excited about it as I am? This is my first one as a designer and the amount of work going on behind the scenes is amazing!

The first two are for the DST Treasure Hunt. One will be at Pretty Scrappy the other at Divine Digital. I love the colors in this kit! I am going to be hunting all day to get this huge collab.
































The next one is for a kit being given away at SFS. (More details soon)

















I will be posting lots of details of events happening at my stores on Friday. I am also planning a hunt of my own with 6 picture clues. If you find them all you will have the code for a $7.00 gift card for my kits.

It's still yesterday somewhere right? I will do another post today, but I just skipped over this yesterday and I wanted to get it up for you.

4 More Days to DSD

Its been a long but rewarding day! I finally got my store up at Scrappin FreeStyle :) I did several mini-kits for DSD and well I can't tell you about that yet *wink*.

So have you all heard the we are closing, wait no we aren't drama at 3Scrapateers? I'm kinda just sitting in the back of the room listening but not really getting in the drama part. The only thing I know was last week I was told we were closing and this week we are not. New owners possibly I have no idea I just thought I would bring it up to explain why I currently am not adding kits there. It would be a real pain to upload more if I won't have a position there anymore.

I had a little trouble getting my new kit up at Scraphead today, but since it is time sensitive I will go ahead and announce it. You can still get it at Pretty Scrappy and SFS. Its only 3.00 for this week only too :) If you really want it from Scraphead you will have to wait until tomorrow.

Give me a drum roll please (j/k) Isn't this kit the cutest? Now I am wishing I did some extra previews to show you some of the cool stuff in this kit. A lot of the elements are leather and the doodled webs and things (mostly made with the wonderful Princess Lala's doodles) are really neat. Can still say neat or is that a no no word? LOL

While I was doing today's freebie I realized I never quite unveiled my last bag to you. It had a frame collection and a brown felt alpha that you can find in all my stores but this was the big kit in it.

































I did this kit because my son came home last year with a picture of himself in a space suit. I just had to scrap it :) I also made my first hybrid album with this kit. I thought it turned out well.

What A Week

Since Saturday everything has just been nuts around here. Saturday afternoon my husband washed the dogs and put Sergeant's Gold flea treatment on them. Hours later they are just pouring drool, shaking, scratching, the list goes on and on. Apparently 1,000's of dogs are affected by some poison in the treatment and in many cases it has lead to death. By then end of the night my poor Lhasa lost most of the use in her back legs. I am still really upset that this product is still on Walmart's shelves, but my dogs got lucky. 4 days later they are mostly back to normal so I finally am getting a chance to post. :)

For the last month or so I have been organizing a charity kit for my dear friend and fellow digi-scrapper. As most of you know Hurricane Ike did some major distruction including the area where Casey (she's the owner of Pretty Scrappy) lives. A large group of designers got together to make a kit in her honor to help her recover from the loss she suffered during the hurricane. This wonderful kit is called New Beginnings. It works perfect for so many layouts new baby, new home, starting over it goes on and on. The kit has 136 Papers, 2 Alphas and 236 Elements for a whopping total of 753 MB ! Wow that was a lot of previews ! It took me several hours to do those so I had to show off my hard work :)

Speaking of hard work I have added a slideshow to the right column of my blog to show of the hard work my Creative Babes have done. I'm going to add it here too.
